Tips and advice for improving health & well-being for you and your family

Individual Consultations

Individual consultations allow for the assessment of my client’s specific dietary, lifestyle and nutritional needs and preferences to enable me to provide them with appropriate personalised advice, guidance and eating plans.

The initial consultation is divided into two appointments, both of which are required for a meal plan and comprehensive advice.
First Consultation (1 hour)

During the initial consultation, a comprehensive nutrition assessment will be completed which includes:

  • Medical history and family history
  • Detailed diet history looking at food preferences, food patterns, food likes and dislikes, allergies and intolerances
  • Health and nutritional status
  • Weight and height measurements
  • Vitamin and mineral supplement review
  • If there are any blood tests required, I will discuss this with you and fill out the blood test request form.

The assessment allows me to gather the information I require to develop personalised meal plans and guidelines.

Second Consultation (40 minutes)

The second consultation to collect your meal plan is a few days later and is mandatory. I will explain how the plan should be implemented and discuss key focus areas for optimal results. Recipes are also provided.

Follow-up Consultations (option of 20 min or 40 min)

Research has shown that people who attend regular follow-up sessions are more likely to be successful in achieving their health and nutrition goals. During these sessions you will receive ongoing support and advice as well as assistance with overcoming the challenges you are facing with making changes. The frequency of your follow-up consultations is variable depending on your needs and will be discussed with you.
DNA Testing: Gene-based Personalised Diet and Lifestyle Advice

I am part of the DNAlysis and 3×4 Genetics networks. I can assist with having the tests done and providing personalised diet and lifestyle recommendations to optimise your health and wellness based on results from the DNA tests.

Discovery Vitality Appointments

Vitality Members earn 1000 Vitality Points once off for any consultation with a dietitian that is 30 minutes or longer in duration.

I will work with you to set specific and achievable nutrition goals to help optimise your health and overall well-being. Please note that no meal plan is provided with this consultation. If you would like a meal plan you will need to have a full individual consultation (see details above). You will still receive 1000 points for this.

Body Composition Analysis

I also offer body composition assessments which provide a detailed report of your body composition.
Telehealth/Virtual and Telephonic Consultations

Virtual & telephonic consultations are also available for those who are unable to come to my practice.

Let’s get started.
